Signage & Exhibition Design
For Signage and Exhibition Design, we were assigned to propose a space (outside of Applied Arts) that would add to the SOAD community. My group, Big Type proposed The Grid, applying modular type for the space. The Grid is a collection of boxes used as a seating area. Like Legos, or linking logs, the community can move and connect the blocks to organize various configurations including letters and shapes. With this proposal, we hope to create a project that offers creativity, interactivity, changeability, and freedom.
